Algonac Community Schools Hall of Fame

 

Welcome to the Algonac Hall of Fame

When you are at the high school, stop by and see the Hall of Fame wall located across from the gym. We are proud to share information about the individuals and teams who helped shape the strong teams of Algonac High School.

Nominations are accepted at any time. To nominate an individual or team for the Hall of Fame, please send in writing a short statement on why this person/team should be nominated. We need a current address for the individual or a member of the team. Send the nominations to Ruth Mavis c/o  Algonac High School 5200 Taft Road Algonac, MI 48001. Nominations can also be submitted electronically to rmavis@algonac.k12.mi.us

Inductions are held in the fall of each year. Information on the individuals being inducted  and the induction will be available on this website. The Hall of Fame Nominating Committee meets each spring to chose the inductees for the Fall. Please visit our links for further information. The bylaws document contains information on criteria for nomination.

The 2011 Induction will be September 23, 2011. Dinner will be at the high school. Following dinner, there will be a ceremony honoring the inductees. Then the inductees will be recognized at halftime of the football game. Come join us as the Muskrats to honor this group.

Bob Ames 1952; Ralph Richardson 1960; Ken Biland 1983; and the 1989 Mens Track Team

The Nominating Committee meets every spring for the fall induction. If you wish to nominate someone, please be sure to submit this nomination in writing. All nominations are kept on file for consideration each year.
